Join us for the annual Mayo Pride Parade. Pride is still a protest. And it’s still a party!
Meeting Point
The parade will meet at the Fairgreen, Westport from 1:30pm and march around town, returning to the Fairgreen for a for a post-parade party.
Free Parade After Party - 🌈 Pride on the green 🌈
This year the official Pride Parade After-Party lands back where it starts, on the historic Fairgreen in Westport's bustling town centre.
As the parade arrives back around 2.30PM, the grass becomes our dance floor. We’re inviting you to pack your pride picnics or grab a takeaway bite from a local business and settle in for an afternoon of pure queer joy.
Expect top-tier entertainment from Mayo Pride’s finest:
🎤 Hosted by Irish icon and heart-throb Joe Dolan, as performed by Breda Larkin
✨ Drag queens extraordinaire, Cornflake Girl and Princess Fianna
🎶 Live performances from the harmonious Sing OutWest Choir
🎸 Westport's own queer indie pop band All Thumbs
🎧 And all the bangers from our resident DJ
So grab your best Judy, your ma, and your newly woke da – this is Westport Quay like you’ve never seen it before.
🤷 This is an alcohol-free event, no alcohol will be served on site
♻️ Please remember to leave no trace
🥾 Wear appropriate footwear – it’s No Mow May, girls!
Please Donate
We will have volunteers collecting at the post parade party. You can donate with card, but cash is always quicker and easier if possible. Every Euro donated is a vote for equality, connection, here in Mayo.
Pride Youth
We have a Pride Youth group to march in the Parade for any young people who might otherwise be on their own or want to march with others. Family members are welcome to join with you. Meet at the top of the Fairgreen – Look for the Pride Youth Banner. There will also be a Pride Prep Pop Up workshop for everyone earlier in the day which will be another great opportunity to meet people, more info here
Mobility & Access
For people with mobility issues, please note parts of the parade are hilly. We will have a limited number of seats available in our bicycle rickshaws for those who can not march. Please contact us if you need assistance and wish to book a seat.
