The Big Gay Hike

It wouldn’t be Mayo Pride without a gay pilgrimage up Croagh Patrick, right? 

ABOUT THE HIKE

• There is a €1 registration fee which will be returned you you at or after the event. This is so we can contact you in case of bad weather or to stop spammers from registering. 
• Croagh Patrick is a 15min drive from Westport and the starting point is located in Murrisk village.
• Our hiking guide Aleena will meet you at ‘Tough At The Top’ Croagh Patrick Car Park, Murrisk.
• The hike will start at 12.00pm sharp so please arrive on time.
• The hike takes two hours to get to the top, and around an hour and a half to come back down. No, that’s not a cocktail bar at the top, it’s a church!
• The views are STUNNING on a clear day, so set your gaze to amaze.
• Good walking boots are essential, sunscreen, rain gear, snacks, insect repellent, water.
• Oh and don’t forget to bring YOUR SINS from the weekend!
